I joined a 3-island hopping tour, and Sapi Island was hands-down the most exciting.
Snorkeling was fantastic – I literally swam next to a school of yellow-striped fish, and the water was like a natural aquarium.
The zipline? Absolutely thrilling! I screamed halfway through, but the view was totally worth it.
Also loved how clean and quiet the beach was compared to other crowded spots.
If you love both relaxation and action, Sapi Island is the perfect balance.
YES – 100% worth it.
Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple on honeymoon, or a family with kids,
Sapi Island offers the best of Kota Kinabalu’s nature, sea, and adventure.
Don’t forget your underwater camera – you’ll want to remember this day forever 💙
